Do You Use Angle Snapping in Overwatch?

Overwatch is a multiplayer, first-person shooter game that heavily relies on team composition. The game was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and is the largest title the company has ever produced. Overwatch was launched in 2016 and has only improved since. It has fun modes and is a major title in the esports world.

Overwatch is most popular because of its large number of characters. Each character is unique and there are 32 of them. Due to the unique abilities and weapons of each character, gameplay is different. Overwatch is both fun and competitive. If players want to win games, they must use multiple tactics and features.

Players should be able to use all of these features. Because not all features are equally useful. Angle snapping is a feature most players don't know about.

What is angle snapping?

Angle snapping is also known as straight-line correction. It guides your mouse along a straight line. If you have ever tried to draw a straight line with your mouse, then you know it is nearly impossible.

Angle snapping is made much easier. This feature removes human error by directing your mouse in a straight line. This feature is great for people who love drawing on their computer. This feature makes it easier to draw straight lines, which is always useful when drawing.

Modern gaming mice do not have the angle snap feature. However, it is an option on all mice. Straight line correction can actually be detrimental to gaming. Although many gamers believe that angle-locking is helpful in gaming, it actually makes aiming more difficult.

Sometimes you won't be able to move your cursor up or down because the function keeps it in a straight line. This is a problem for obvious reasons. Imagine you're playing Overwatch when suddenly you see an enemy in front of your face.

You will likely have to adjust your crosshairs in this instance. You will not be able to do it in time due to the rectilinear error. You'll likely miss most of your shots or your opponents will take you out before you can.
